Spirituality and Religion,
the former primarily pre-Excess and Profit of Indigenous peoples, and Religion post Profit progressive.

Spirituality is defined as polytheism or many Gods and Spirits, which share the same space as physical creatures, but are of a different dimension. If Gods and Spirits are sacred sacrosanct, then the space they occupy is sacred and indeed should be respected by physical beings.

Excess and Profit needs the material world for raw material and resource, and thus Gods and Spirits would be of such a nuisance. Thus Religion is inspirited as the sky God, with no terrestrial private property signs, and religious profiteers can loot the earth to their hearts content - problem solved.

Spirituality is of dozens to hundreds of Gods and Spirits, who all it would seem get along fairly well, and would suggest are fairly democratic, each Spirit occupying its limited space, and generally minding its own business, unless one bothers them.

Whereas Religion is defined as monotheism or one God fascism, that allows no others, and can be said to be patriarchal or man's church. Religion is the notion of profiteers, who believe the terrestrial plane is material and of no inherent consequence in and of itself; to include humans who also may be exploited like cattle, unless they are consecrated from above by the sky God, who saves their bacon, in the long after-life run.

The Religionists are Excess and Profit materialists who derive their non-materialist celestial salvation from the sky, while Spiritualists as non-materialists derive their sanctity from the earth.

Spirituality is said to be Matriarchal or woman's spiritualism, as well as Conservative and socialist. If Spirituality does not indulge Excess and Profit, what is left is Necessity and Subsistence which is Conservative, meaning existence by no more than what is needed, and states are maintained as they were. And by socialism is meant, the organized social government structure serves the All equitably and freely, and the Part as the One serves the whole.

Religion of the many Identities - is one God fascist. Spirituality of the one body as Ego, is multitudinous spirits - democratic.

Religion is said to be Materialist, Progressive and Capitalist. Materialist because there is no non-material elements in people's lives. Everything is material and non-material God is far away, and only the church has some angel dust, but you can't see it : church pews, hymnals, lectern, stained glass windows, organ, but no angel dust.

On the other hand Spirituality, if not materialist, but believes of ethereal, apparitional, supernatural or astral presence, and inter-dimensionality as co-existence, in which spirits can be sensed as felt, and can affect material reality such that one can interpret such affects as communication, the individual is said to be capable of personal relationships with non-material entities.

Religion is said to be Progressive because the individual is expected to progress and transcend from a lowly materialist state, by Baptism, Confirmation, perhaps confession and last lights, and by emulating perfection, one may after death arrive at the pearly gates and the prospect of endless eternity.

Spirituality is said to be Conservative. The natural condition and existence is already perfect, considering the elements and construct, spinning rock in space with molten center. Thus being is already perfect, and no need for progression and accumulation to evaluate one's sense of worth and consequence.

Religion is said to be capitalist or at least condoning of Excess and Profit. In fact Heaven is the profit of which will be earned by the travails of earthly existence, and in fact such being is the resource material in which one will build a stairway to Heaven.

Spirituality is said to be socialist, meaning the Whole is the natural planetary sphere, which serves the Parts as everything needed materially and spiritually, spiritualists might say. And all the Parts are equal in the make-up and sustainment of the Whole.

A third type of extra-mundane practice is usually called Mysticism, which may involve secret rites, and if it is secret, probably not many would believe it.

For myself I like the concept of Metaphoria, as a more or less running conversation with reality, as may be experienced moment by moment, by any given individual interpreted as metaphor, as interpretation of sight, color, form and sound, situation and circumstances, by correspondences of thought word and deed, with happen-stance of the moment, as comments one upon the other.

In which the Euphoric, spirit intervening in the mundane - would metaphorically converse as Condition; and which the individual responds as notification and comment, by thought, word or deed. I said right here right now. And a sudden wind came up and nearly blew his tent down. No it is not malicious, it is merely making a point, and will never harm you.
