Species
A species as a Whole lives a very long time. For instance a species of tree may be millions of years old and as a construct within a particular environment, such as earth, air, water and fire or sunshine, it may-be considered eternal. As a species, my-being perhaps might-be eternal. So my sense would-be in the history of the species. But of what-sense the species ? Of what sense the sense ?
The only thing that makes sense would be the Whole, or all or the planetary Whole is all we can know. Of what sense does a dead lifeless planet like Mars make ?
Of what sense does a life-full planet like Earth make ?
A Whole provides the environment for the Parts.
The Parts as themselves seem not-to make much sense, accept in the sustaining of the Whole. But of the Whole perhaps we have something. We have another Part.
They call the Whole God-is-all. God makes sense. What sense ? Saved from sin and gifted eternal life. Life makes more sense than death, that-is the good life. Activity to create the satisfaction of need and sometimes desire makes sense. Need would pre-exist myself, as my material being. Satisfaction of need is straight-forward and makes sense for unhindered continuation. Desire is self-created and as perhaps what is unneeded, makes not a lot of sense.
The planet Earth is a place I come to visit. I could love it equally no-matter the time or place as historical period.
If nothing else, it is something to do. My travel agent wipes my memory clean. Sense is where intention is accomplished. So if ah - a reincarnated being intended this visitation, it would make sense even if the visitor were unaware. Assuming such where is the old memory, the one one used to know ?
