Transcendental
Transcendental Analysis is an extension of the External Technique into the areas of Symbolic Experience, in which elements of the reality of everyday experience become symbolic. It is the study of the nature of humankind by the study of the self, in which it must be assumed that the individual self is the same or similar to every other self, in terms of the human sensory apparatus, as a similar sensory system. It must also be assumed that every individual would, in similar circumstances and with a similar value system, if not do exactly the same things, might at least come to understand the propensities and temptations of others, no matter in what age or time.
Whereas in the External Technique, if the emphasis is upon the observation of reality, in terms of the Transcendental method, the emphasis is upon the individual as participant. The understanding of the human condition can be undertaken by reading, theater or film, but this has the drawbacks of abstraction, unreality and no real consequences attached; the absence of authentic feeling, emotions and the possible bias and misinformation of the author. One can always feel that they would never do what has been done by others, and thus never truly understand why others do what they do. For a better understanding of reality, the best mode of learning would be to be a participant in events, such as taking part in historical circumstance by time travel.
The character or Base Conviction of the self, may be determined by the type of decisions an individual will make, in what is perceived to be actual circumstance, wherein real consequences are inherent in the situation and decision making, which is a measure of one's true character, knowledge and constitution.
Knowledge learned in the abstract from such things as books, theater or word of mouth, may be perfectly valid, but without true and real involvement with actual consequence, the individual cannot possess an actual measure of one's own true character, and thus can also believe about themselves anything that is convenient.
Since the individual can only be in one place, one body, and one time frame, and is restricted to specific geographical, social and cultural environments, the understanding of human nature in terms of such things as religion, politics, or historical events, could be obtained, if the individual were to undertake a state of Enigmatic Belief, wherein these boundaries of time and place could be transcended. Transcendental Analysis is the various methods and techniques the individual may employ to promote the study of reality wherein the individual becomes a character in history so to speak; which is to say, instead of learning proceeding in a vicarious fashion from the studies of archaeologists, anthropologists or historians, the individual assumes parts as role playing. However, a certain familiarity with the human condition and processes by reading, film or theater or by processes of analysis, may be convenient as indicators to the larger ramifications of particular characters and circumstances of the historical condition.
Enigmatic Belief
Enigmatic Belief is the creation of the perspective that the individual self has acquired power such, that the person can identify with larger cultural, political, religious decision making processes. This may include the belief by the individual, that they possess power and ability such as to produce real changes in the world. Accordant with this power is the responsibilities, implications and complexities inherent in such a proposition.
Enigmatic Belief is a revelation, realization or misconception based upon the occurrence of a state of mind, in which logical reality becomes suspended, and wherein the individual is presented with the possibility of vast personal power and importance. The individual is the subject of a Centrex of god-like powers, in which it may seem that the whole of one's life has been orchestrated to some exceptional purpose. The particular means by which Enigmatic Belief is derived is from what is usually an involuntary state of mind, which is visited upon the individual, termed
Manic Realization.
This realization may take the form of an emotional astonishment and trauma, and the experience may be a form of schizophrenia, and as such may be brought on by any number of causes such as diet, genetic propensity, drugs, stress, or a strong need for substantiation of worth. This realization may not be possible or desirable for everyone, or even for very many, and may not even prove to be a choice for any given individual. Rather, it may represent a gift or curse, depending upon the aims of the individual and the outcome of the experience. Following from the occurrence of the idea that one is omnipotent, the mind may become involved in hyperactive thought processes and emotional trauma, in terms of all the thinking, evaluating, and feeling that such a sudden realization would cause, in this new context of existence in which the individual attempts to cope. This experience can prove to be dangerous resulting in loss of rationality and may cause considerable psychological trauma, depending upon the interpretation, which may take various forms relative to individual's and cultural and psychological background, as religious experience, hallucination or mental illness.
Any individual undertaking such an experience should be willing to risk the personality changes, which can be both beneficial or harmful, and which may have lasting and permanent affects. There may also arise the possibility of physical dangers as manic and paranoid delusions, which may promote dangerous altercations to oneself and others and the risks of institutionalization or suicide.
In terms of western science, Manic Realization may most often be classified as schizophrenia, a disease in which it is unknown as to whom or when it might strike. The determination as to how and to whom it happens, as opposed to a medical definition, might be considered in terms of a spiritual or mystical determination, which although it may not include many or a majority of cases, is the perspective in which it is considered here. There may also be methods by which Manic Realization may be purposefully induced, as techniques of ancient and now lost, or presently existing and secret mystical cults. For the uninitiated individual, the occurrence of the consciousness of Enigmatic Belief and Reality may not be a choice or necessarily an act of individual will, but rather something that happens to the person as opposed to a state that is willfully created.
