In terms of politics the province of the Left Wing is an
inclusion of all the diverse groups and interests of the
lower end of the scale. Because the the dynamic of the
Metaphysical Ideal is concentrated, and because elite
status is only apparent when in contrast to the lower
classes, social change which affects the betterment of
the many is the province of the Left Wing. This
requires organization which is all inclusive and that is
the opposite of the exclusivity of the Right. The Left
Wing is the representation of organizations of the
amorphous mass into a cohesive unity. This unity is
best accomplished by means of government.
The Left Wing in political terms, is ideally the uniter
of all these diverse interests in terms of political
organization, and what they can agree upon in their
own interest. For the Left Wing, the ideal is not
ascendancy of the individual, which is for most people
untenable. The exemplification of the Comparative
Base of the Left Wing is the organization. These can
be professional associations, trade unions, religious
groups, cooperatives, government, clubs, affiliations
and social organizations of every kind. The group is
the reflection of the individual, and from which the
person obtains satisfactory existence. The unification
of these diverse entities is best accomplished by
government, when utilized as it is intended, the
function of which is to serve the whole of the people in
an equitable way.
