Models of Expectation
represent authority for activity and behavior as objectives, that are necessary for existence, comfort and well being, such as simple survival or modern living. Authoritarianism is wherein, Models of Expectation are considered more important than the personal wishes of individuals. Authoritarianism represents the demand by specific individuals and groups, that others conform to Models of Expectation, for the purpose of promoting specific objectives and forms. When Models of Expectation conform to the preservation of original and existing states and conditions, such as that of the natural world, in its original and pristine condition, or to preserve existing cultural and social orders, this is defined as Conservative Authoritarianism.
This might be instanced, by the enforcement of environmental laws, wherein in this case, the individual's personal preferences are subjugated to the greater good of the whole, as the health of the larger environment.
Government authority, that promotes the interests of the whole over that of the individual, can be described by the term Socialism.
Authoritarian dictatorships where the interests of the whole outweigh the individual, can be called benevolent dictatorship.
When Necessity and Subsistence, is the primary economic wherewithal and or ethical consideration, and wherein the Models of Expectation tend to conform to what already exists as nature, and the authority for human activity and behavior is the natural world.
