As a general rule one consider themselves not to work for some particular
person or organization or the self even, but for the benefit of the whole, in so far
as in every circumstance one does one's best, in the help of others and in the preservation of values. The choice of non-affluence is self-decided and one should take responsibility for it.
It could be said that one should support the system, build and buy as the
Humanitarian thing to do in the short run, however if one thinks that
'sustainable development' is an oxymoron, then one can live an Ethical
instead of a Moral lifestyle.
