The Greeks were different I discovered, when I got there in my service years. The Greek civilization thousands of years old - they had the five and ten finger curse. It was five fingers, the cursed hand, a fistful of hollers, and could be two-handed. It meant Whatnot You and your mother, father, grandparents of both fornications, and every one ever who has been or will be related to you and everyone you will ever know. That was serious stuff. Thing was I discovered, it was so broad in scope. It meant nothing-really. It was huff-and-puff theater. There it is. I spent all my ammo. I am disarmed. My gun is empty. Lets get-down to tough-talk turkey in a loud and boisterous manner, creating as much drama and scene stealing as we-all can manner.

The curse is revenge. If I cannot get even-steven on the Whatwas-plane, eye for an eye, I can in the Whatnot bane. I will draw-down the curse of Whatnot. Can or can't - whose going to know. Point a finger and things bad, that would have happened anyway - unrelated; are now believed to be the work of the curse - if a believer. And even if not - one might wonder. Point a finger, and I leave the scene of the crime, fled asunder with no-pay hates, clean as a whistle. It can not be proven in a court of law, so me squeaky-clean. Made something from nothing; something there that was not before, if you have not much to invest, and no laudable holdings. You get something for nothing - feelings - otherwise not on the premises.

What other power - does the powerless have ? I have my bad thoughts and I am going to give them to you. Because I don't want-em. Not doin' me any good.
