So how do you get to know a dishonest person ? You don't hold it against them. At least that was my tact. They have a justifiable reason. What is it ? If I know it, I can argue from that point of view. I can be honest. However there has to be a reasonable logic. I can-see-that - is the philosopher's known. It is a legitimate argument in this instance in these circumstances. The Whatnot is real. If I were them, Whatnot-y would be real. They want me to believe in Whatnot-y. Build a castle if you are rich, and a church if you are poor. The castle belongs to one, and the church to all.

Riding on the country Irish roads, would be guys a-time side of the road walking towards me, and I look at them and they look at me, and at the last instance as I am sliding by, do a little sideways head-nod, of a greeting's twitch, and I to be polite - would twitch likewise back, and would hurt my neck. I wondered - did they know that my politeness hurt my neck ? Is that why they did it at the last-second so ? Could I not help myself being polite ? I thought about myself as they might see me traversing through the air, like if you might pretend there is no scooter, and there is form moving through the vacuum - ill-shaped, crooked-knees, bent-over back, with head propped vertical, chin-up staring straight ahead. There is a queer-looker.

I suppose I could not but be polite, except only if I held a grudge-match. Done a lot of that. It's a game two people can play, and no one else knows. More than two, and it is not as much fun listening to your team-mates tell about how great it felt, to make someone feel-bad in a crowd.
