It is further believed that all, or at least human/spiritual entities, should at some time accomplish the goal of transcendence to the non-karmic state. If this were to include all living things, then this would mean that all physical living existence would cease to exist. There are two schools of thought concerning the the achievement of the non-karmic state. One school may believe that upon achieving freedom from the karmic cycle, the elevation to the non-karmic plane is final, while the other school may believe that ascension
is not automatic, but that one has the choice to remain among the karmic bound and aid in the elevation of others.
