It can also involve the concept of for 'safety's sake' in which the individual's new identity is not revealed to anyone, to insure the safety of such a person from those who would take advantage and may want to remove competitors. This and other themes involving power may produce paranoia, in which the individual may come to believe that they are too important to live safely without some form of protection, either as a physical security apparatus or by means of secrecy.

How could this be possible? It may involve themes of power. Power themes can consist in the belief that one possesses some form of advantage, either as assets such as vast holdings of property one owns, which are held in trust until such a time as one may possess the ability to handle such responsibilities, and or connections with persons possessing power. Or it can involve Metempiric Power which makes things possible which otherwise could never be.

World Centrex

There may be born the idea of World Centrex, in which the individual may believe that they inhabit a specific geographical ground, which as Enigmatic Belief, may be considered to be the center of the world. This idea may follow from the conclusion that the individual alone is incapable of the facets of power which have been revealed, but power is obtained by habitation within the boundaries of the World Centrex. The World Centrex may not dispose of power to others inhabiting the same area, as they are unconscious of its existence and the state of Enigmatic Belief in general.

How great, and how far does this power extend? This theme concerns the concept of territories. Territorial boundaries may be based upon geographical, racial, religious, political or cultural affinities, based upon the spheres of influence of which the individual feels they are responsible.

In terms of the World Centrex, the logic might involve any number of centers worldwide. Various schemes can be concocted of simultaneous operation, or the dormancy of some or all in favor of only one, or only those where there are one or more individuals possessing the attributes of Enigmatic Belief or Metempiric Power. Does this power produce conflicts of interest and vulnerability with others who may also have power both as merely physical and as magical, in which one should remain hidden? This question can also involve paranoia. If the individual possesses great power, then there must exist enemies. To the degree that the individual holds ideas which are contrary to the accepted and established perspectives, there will be conflicts and the possibility of danger.

Is this a delusion, or is this real? This question considers the theme of verification. The first means by which this experience may be verified is through the communication of it with others. This involves the possible bursting of the bubble, in which it may become apparent that the experience is not real, but only a fantasy of mind. One must decide whether the realization, with all its manifest possibilities both positive and negative, is worth what can be gained from it in terms of knowledge, or what can be lost in terms of one's mundane personality and mental stability.

There is also the danger that divulging it to others may produce a response in which it is thought that one is crazy, and for one's own sake, may involve a commitment to doctors and the consequent drugs which would halt the process.

And with the elevated sense of worth and power and the possible consequent dangers of revealing such a status to the wrong people, especially those that prefer a status quo, the question may arise as to one's safety in terms of revealing this condition. The validity of Enigmatic Belief and Metempiric Power as real and actual realities, is not the purpose of its utilization and is irrelevant compared to the knowledge, depth of character and consciousness, derived from such experiences. The state of mind is one, in which the conclusion is drawn, that the individual is the center of a sphere of influence in which the person has been granted extraordinary power.

This power is a vehicle in which to make decisions, which otherwise would never be possible or necessary. The individual views Enigmatic Reality as a learning opportunity, comes to grips with it, and like a tourist, follows the reality or illusion into a separate sphere of possibilities, to pursue the logic of the phenomenon, as a series of questions, the answers of which will determine the nature of the experience.

Suspended Belief

The condition of Enigmatic Belief may involve a state of mind in which one believes without believing, that is termed Suspended Belief. This means that the individual on the conscious level believes, but suppressed below the surface, one at least reserves judgment or may not believe at all. The conscious belief is preferred to support the Learning Illusion. Belief is encouraged so as to promote the experience and to produce the maximum benefit from its manifestation. As an aid to this encouragement, a device termed Sensory Selection may be employed. This involves the registration of the senses in which perception is altered such that it supports Enigmatic Belief.

For instance the individual may alter the reception of the sound of words such that, what is heard supports the belief. Or one may blank out and not hear information which contradicts the believed state of affairs. This condition is enhanced by the strong emotional intensification produced by this experience. Thus the state of belief can be self-reinforcing.

Coincident with Sensory Selection is memory selection, wherein the individual selectively remembers that which supports Enigmatic Belief and does not remember what does not. The memory may support what is convenient to the belief and forget what is not. The suspension of the memory, of the past history of a subject, so that entities in present circumstance can be perceived however the individual likes, maybe something like a tourist where everything is new and unknown. Because the individual can easily get into trouble acting upon false assumptions, Suspended Belief also involves believing only to the point wherein serious trouble may arise to oneself or others. This state of belief is controlled by staying clear of situations of danger and circumstances which may expose the reality as unrealistic, even though this safeguard may be unconscious.

Enigmatic Escape

As a means of removing oneself from the structure of belief one has created, either from selected aspects or from the process as a whole, one may employ Enigmatic Escape, which is to confide of one's perceived reality with others. Since the individual may not be inclined to believe verbal confirmations, one might rely as much upon the feelings and vibrations one receives from these communications. One may also turn off the utilization of Sensory Selection and begin to think in the conventional forms of logic, reversing the process so as not to support the veracity of Enigmatic Belief, but rather to attempt to prove it a fallacy. However there are aspects and conditions of this experience in which it virtually impossible not to believe. Recovery to the former self could take a year or longer.
