The Negative Dimension as the facility of the human memory, replicates the Positive Dimension with varying degrees of accuracy, including the capability of exactness. The memory is an essential function of the Human Sensory Apparatus, for all automatic or volitional activity and behavior, as one judges the distance one can jump by past experience. The memory also replicates itself, as the recall of past thinking or conversation, like one thought or was told they could reach the beach by sunset.

The Negative Dimension also represents individual free will, independent of outside circumstances, as one will eat ice cream, just because the idea has occurred to one, and for no other reason, not hunger or urges, or the instruction of others.

In terms of space and time, the ability of the memory facilitates and creates an expansion of awareness, beyond the boundary of immediate perception of the Positive Dimension. Referring to space: what exists outside the perceptible circumstance, as one remembers that the kitchen is around the corner. Or in terms of time: as what has taken place in the past, like that day of graduation, and in reference to the future, as what may come to pass, like the trip next summer.

Association

Association is the selecting and comparing by the memory, of sensory impressions or images which are recalled from the memory and are compared to present experience, other recall, or thinking in the present moment. What is stored in the memory is termed comparative value which is the Association that is selected from the memory, as general or specific impressions, images or symbols, that is isolated from the myriad of stored experience and cognition, and which is compared to any or all elements in any given present circumstance or thinking.
