Metaphysical Psychology

For instance one may adopt the Identity of priest as a superior perspective to the supposed natural self and Ego. The Primary Identity is based upon singular attributes and not a multiplicity. These progressed and superior attributes as a concept are called the Metaphysical Ideal and Extra Mundane Authority.

Because the Ideal and Authority is singular, and replaces a singular Ego, the religious propensity is to Monotheism as a singular all-inclusive personification. On the secular level the propensity is similar, as a singular authority figure which represents the highest level of progressive development.

The Metaphysical Level involves the possible psychology that may ensue from the creation of an entity, that transcends the duality of the Ego/Identity complex. This entity may evolve from the creation of the Transcendent Identity, where the Interpretive Context of reality transcends the physical, to non-physical ideals, beliefs and motives, and further transcends the physical body, as an agent outside and independent of oneself.

The Transcendent Identity is created as most others, by envisioning an alternative personality. However a personality independent of the physical body is usually not conceived of by most people. For some this type of Transcendent Identity may be created incidentally with the institution of what is called the Watcher. This is an agent used to observe oneself from the outside, as others would see one, for the purpose of becoming aware of internal and external unconscious traits in thinking and action, so as to give one the ability to make changes if so desired. Another means and perhaps the most commonly discovered means for the discovery of non-material context of being, would be an out-of-body experience, in which one might become convinced, or at least must entertain the idea that Extended Existence, or life after death is a definite possibility.
