Another guy destroyed his bedroom door by teeing off golf balls into it. Many of the walls in the building had newly made holes and much of the place had to be patched again and repainted.

Summer and winter I was out there for about three years and sometimes spring breaks. Which was another interesting thing I thought. A semester at this college was expensive. Except it didn't seem to get started to near October first and finished near December tenth to get ready for finals and Christmas break. And a week off for Thanksgiving. What can one learn in forty days. ?

I had a job in a single building the whole of a few days. A Stanford permanent maintenance crew had to do some outdoor work next door out back so I got to watch them all day. They started like I did at seven-thirty. They didn't get to the job site until between eight-thirty and nine. It took them forty five minutes to get set up and then it was ten o'clock break time. They either had to drive to the main cafeteria or to the break room back at HQs and drive back. In either case they did not get back till ten thirty and did not get started on the job until ten-forty. They worked one hour and had to start getting ready to leave for lunch at eleven thirty. They left at ten to twelve and did not get back till quarter to one and started work at one, In the afternoon it was the same thing they had to leave for break at quarter to two and start again sometime after a quarter-after and it was near time to get ready to go home.
