The state of memory is termed Negative Dimension which represents the facility of the memory, to produce impressions and images in the brain, distinct from present circumstance, as past events, future possibilities, or pure fantasy. The Negative Dimension as the dictate and impetus for human action is termed Extrinsic Authority. This is Comparative States in the memory that are the authority, impetus and motive, for human activity and behavior, like I think I will go for a ride, because some excitement may happen, as opposed to the present sensory state, which does not require any excitement.

The memory is a reflection of what the sensory system registers in a present moment. The memory reflects accurately, termed Correspondent Association like the paragraph was remembered accurately word for word; or reflects inaccurately by reorganization, imagination or faulty recollection termed Disconjunctive Association, like the case file was returned to the wrong place by accident or design.

The memory is the reflection of past experience, like my hat is in the closet, and the projection of future states, as I remember how to get to Grandma's house and am leaving now. Extrinsic Authority means, that authority for human activity and behavior, is independent and outside the present circumstance, as memory which reflects the past or projects the future, and which may misrepresent reality in the present, as the fire got out of control because the fire extinguisher was not where he remembered it to be.

If the circumstances of present living as Intrinsic Authority as the natural environment and real world of the individual do not contain inherent validity, then the act of living in and of itself is negated. A validity outside the Given Existence is necessary which is only possible through the facilities of conception to envision and create alternatives to the natural state.
