Any and all the wild life that might wander into the vicinity of these contaminated sites could be poisoned causing untold nuclear sickness and suffering, death and possibly genetic mutations. Therefore it could be said that while these scientists may have high degrees of intelligence, they do not necessarily have high degrees of Consciousness, which in this case might be a simple awareness of the negative possibilities in the long run, from energy sources perhaps very beneficial in the short.
Levels of Consciousness can be said to equate to varying perspectives from which reality is viewed as
Interpretive Context. Interpretive Context means the way reality is perceived based upon the individual's personal associations which affect and may determine the individual's perceptions of the world. Interpretive Contexts can be such things as class, religion or politics, and may determine the level of intelligence. An example of a class Interpretive Context might be wherein the individual perceives reality based upon the class they have been conditioned such as lower or upper class. The lower class person may interpret reality in terms of the absence of personal power and responsibility and thus will not become educated in these facets, and may be limited in the knowledge of the feelings and mechanisms of social influence and importance. Upper class persons may have power and the responsibility that goes with it, and thus may possess a consciousness of social and political mechanisms by which societies are governed and an accordant degree of intellect. Religious Interpretive Context might be one in which the individual defines reality in terms of God. For instance the person may prefer to associate only with those persons that possess what is considered as the proper attributes of Godliness and thus be unaware and limited in terms of the perspectives of others, and the consequent greater levels of intellect and consciousness.
