Natural Affection is love. Love is good, great and wonderful feeling, as pure empirical sensory experience. Associations distract from apprehension. Natural Affection would be pure sensory registration with Association limited to what would be necessary for safety sake. The mind as Association can clutter itself with senseless pre-occupational clap-trap such that little is observed, considered by the individual as the greatest of importance, and called pre-occupation doesn't notice. Recognition and identification of sensory apprehension is automatic. Consequence may or may not be applied as well as value judgment. The individual can control what associations are applied in thought and reality, especially the riddance of negative mental disturbances. But it can take work and practice.
The Consequence of Being can be affected by the affections. People tend to favor those they have affection for and disfavor those they do not. But then one can love a criminal, and thus affections would not be considered as proper criterion, to determine Consequence of Being as other than personal prerogatives. Air, water and sunlight is necessary to very existence and Consequence of Being would be obvious.
Natural Affection would be said to be more the province of the Ego while Emotion as more the province of the Identities. The Ego as the first personality and personification or
Thinking-I, interprets reality from the Context of anything that concerns or would affect the body. Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. As a matter of preservation, the interpretation of reality needs to be precise and accurate as Natural Affection and absent Association that alters and mis-judges reaction as Emotion.
