In terms of Will, as the ability to make decisions and choose between alternatives, the Positive Dimension must be stable, consistent, reliable, predictable and conservative, the qualities of which are necessary for Will to operate, as to make decisions in present knowing that conditions in future will be applicable. This propensity is defined by the term Imperative Determinant, wherein decisions can be made based on the dictates, activity and behavior and conditions of a relatively stable environment in present, by the relative certainty of known future states.

In terms of Will the Mystical Dimension is represented by the concept of the Absent Determinant, or the absence of any known and certain authority which authorizes, determines, mandates and certifies what the absolute nature and dynamic of any aspect of reality should be. This absence of the knowledge of any certain imperatives or value is called Olamic Value. The essence of the Mystical Dimension is termed the Mystical Naught, or the absence of any known result & product as a future state, which would explain the reason, purpose and meaning of the Given Existence, as something different from what it already is.

The Will is considered as an element of the Negative Dimension. This may be as little as the materialist Memory Self, or may include greater capacities and planes, such as the Astral I and Soul. In the context of the Positive and Mystical Dimensions, it might be said to be a decision-maker in between the Positive, or what can be seemingly known, and Mystical as what seemingly may not be known.

Decision-making of the Will, utilizing all three dimensions: requires an awareness of some object in the Positive Dimension, either existent in present reality or in past memory, such as a sensation or thought.
