Usually these kind of people are from really isolated places like corn, wheat or pie states, with one morning coffee shop serving breakfast, after listening to local radio ding-bats funded by billionaires telling them all their problems are foisted on them by communist Russians, the UN, the Devil and the deep who be.
Everywhere and every country that corporate capitalism is the dominant economic system is a country awash in corruption, crime, blackmail, bribery, extortion, fraud and graft, malfeasance and sooner or later murder and mayhem. Just take America for example, the most criminal country in the history of the world, or any Central or South American country like Brazil, ruled by oligarchal capitalism and there you have it.
Unfortunately for Socialism, a lot of socialists want all the corrupting perks of Capitalism and so become as corrupt as their capitalist brethren, if they are not outright entrapped by the capitalists, in which there is no evil the capitalists will not commit, because the capitalist believer, being not too swift, fervently believes that God and the good is on his side. Yes the traitor socialist wants the money, the parties, the dinners, the influence, the jet set and the best of everything. European Socialism which is the only western socialist countries the US emporium has allowed to exist, is rife with examples of corrupt socialist politicians and the EU government in Brussels is probably stocked with Capitalist capitalists.
The difference is Socialism is
Conservative and Capitalism is
Progressive. They are opposite mind-sets. Conservative is preservative and Progression is uproot the old for the new. Conservative preserves the past and Progression destroys and exploits the past for the future. So Conservative is preservative and Progression is destructive.
