Maybe she is free for the first time in her life, free from kids and the whatever husband. Why make the future me ? Yes I said, I don't use the I Ching often for exactly that reason. But still there are instances when I would want to know. I decided some time ago that the mind cannot predict the future. The I Ching is used for decision making --- she cut me off, "I decided that in the second grade" she said, about un-wanting to know the future. And she went off on a tangent. I love that. The I Ching predicts her as the future, which kills the illusory Anka, since I must thereafter be loyal to her. So if she doesn't call and I never see her again I understand, and I still have Anka and the epiphany is forever.

As I remember, the end of the experience drew near when I was out at Golden Gate Park dressed maybe a little flamboyantly. I was in the Botanical Gardens on the south-east bank of the pond by the north entrance. An old gay guy, also somewhat flamboyantly dressed, sat on a bench across the pond exactly opposite to my facing. I thought that this should be interesting to observe the signals. Then I noticed at some distance a line of multi-color dressed hippie figures in single file sneaking over a hill, running at half-trot, bent over in sneaking posture. I recognized the Professor and his kids all five of them. Then they came sneaking through the woods. Somehow it was about then that they all knew I was bonkers. I did not discuss it with them. I deduced that all my friends had got together to compare notes, and put two and two together.
