THE INTERNAL TECHNIQUE

The Internal technique consists of analytical and emotional methods of self-examination, to determine the content of the self; as to what one knows, and why one thinks, believes and acts the way one does, as based upon past experience and conditioning. The analytical method is used to examine the meaning of definitions for words and concepts, for the purpose of understanding, the ability to communicate with others, and so that one can make decisions based upon clear precise knowledge. The emotional method is for the purpose of learning, understanding and possibly changing one's conditioning, which is the automatic response mechanisms, which have been developed by past experience, decisions and thinking, and which at the present time may be unconscious and systematic.

INTERNAL ANALYSIS

Internal Analysis can be used for singular problems or as examination of all of one's conditioning. This later process is day by day and can take from months to years. It can also involve the External and Transcendental Methods. It takes years to produce a personality and it cannot be examined or undone in a short period of time. Actually Internal Analysis can only take one so far, and its purpose is primarily to identify the origins of ideas, beliefs and conditioning, based upon the experience and thinking that is already past, from earliest childhood to the present. These origins affect present thought and experience in many ways.

An extension of the Internal process is External Analysis in which the individual transfers the study, into the real world of present reality, and studies the self and others in real action. Real circumstance is where the unconscious habits and behavior can be noticed and identified, and also where the true character emerges in circumstance and situations with real consequences involved, as opposed to the sometimes fabricated image of oneself in the mind, which supports the wishful thinking of the individual.
