Association is classified as two fundamental types which are termed Correspondent and Disconjunctive Association. Correspondent Association represents the fairly accurate portrayal of remembered experience wherein Disconjunctive Association is the alteration of association by such things as exaggeration, faulty memory or the influence of others.

CONSERVATIVE SPIRITUAL ETHICAL IDENTITY
This Identity represents the individual who possesses a consciousness which incorporates the concepts which have been described as Conservative, Spiritual and Ethical, and which act as a context for the individual's pursuit of living. In terms of emotion, this Identity is characterized by the Equipolent Emotional Dynamic. Consequential Values which result from the perspective of Complimentary Opposition, the Equivalency Principle and Unified Consequence, may produce a non-antagonistic emotional make-up, in which Consequential Value is not dichotomized into positive/negative antagonisms with accordant love/hate polarities. Consequential Value is unified, which means that Opposition as natural change is considered as Conservative and Complimentary. This is like the heat of the sun compliments the cold of space wherein the rotation of the earth produces the a mean between. All aspects of the natural world are of equal consequence, and thus emotional response tends to correspond to present circumstance, by Correspondent Association as opposed to bipolar stereotypes.

UNIFIED IDENTITY
The Identity Determinant represents how the individual determines the identity of the self. The Unified Identity means the individual is unified with the environment of the natural world. What is of consequence to the well being of that environment is of consequence to the individual. The self-identity is unified in the manifestation of any given present circumstance. This means that the individual may be defined by natural reality, such as a name may be given for the kind of day which someone is born, such as Big Wind.
