Analysis is a method of self-examination and education in which the individual seeks to discover and examine the origins and content of the belief system which is the authority for that person's thoughts, words and actions. Everyone is conditioned by the culture to which they are born and raised toward specific propensities of attitude. And nearly everyone raised in industrialized cultures is conditioned into the generalized category of Progressive Materialism. Analysis is a method to examine the intellectual definitions inculcated into the self, and the feelings and emotion attached to them, in the attempt to discover the true origins of the individual's motivations as why one thinks talks and acts as one does.

Many organizations and people, have agendas of which they believe is the best for themselves and everyone else. Because of the many competing factions, the individual may become confused and unclear in thought and action. Analysis may represent a means and an objective to strip away conditioning as a return to the Proto-identity, in which the individual is free to respond spontaneously to the dynamics of any given present circumstance, as opposed to the automatic response of past conditioning. It represents a state of interruption, as any given point in any person's life, in which there exists a dissatisfaction with one's past or present life and the direction it indicates; or the character of the culture in which one exists, wherein there is a desire to make changes to the content of the character of the self, as an attempt to ascertain how and what future one should proceed towards.

If the individual desires to be self-acting and independent, the person needs to define the nature of all the many definitions of words, terms and concepts by which the individual makes decisions. The purpose of analysis is to clarify the thinking of the mind and be clear about what things mean. Definitions are classified as two types or Common and Personal. Common Definitions are those found in dictionaries, and are for the purpose of common understanding in which people can agree for purposes of communication and everything pertaining to that, from commerce or law to games. Common definitions are necessary for a compatibility with others. Personal Definitions are those which are formed by the individual based upon personal experience, and which may be distinct from Common Definitions.

The technique of analysis, as defined here consists of three types, or the Internal, External and Transcendent methods. Internal Analysis consists of two basic techniques, or the analytical method which is used to define the meaning of concepts, definitions and terms. The emotional method examines past history, in terms feelings and emotions which were involved in the formation of definitions. Both processes are an exploration of memories of the past, in which opinions and values were formed, many of which might have become forgotten, unconscious and automatic, and while they originally may have been valid, may now in the present have no relevancy. The External method is wherein the individual tests definitions in the real everyday world by observation and active engagement. Transcendent Analysis is the logical extension of the Internal and External methods but may not be for very many. It involves the suspension of reality and belief in things which may not be true. It almost requires the proceeding analysis to get through these states of mind, in terms health and well-being and the utilization of its maximum potential.
