There are geological places, one may have heard where gravity is askew. Round rolls up hill. There is one in Oregon that had-had a private gold assaying station on it. In this gravity-particularity, gold weighed-out not so heavy and they paid the miners less than what it really weighed. No - can't win there. The game is fixed. The gravity is fixed, "but gold weighs the same for everyone", unless in this anomaly. Gravity is fair and the same the world over. The system is based on trust. I am honest. I can trust you. It is not-you I am particularly worried about. I want a reality I can trust. I don't want it fooling me by chance. I don't care if they are dishonest, as long as I can predict the outcome.
