It seems that two days after my packages arrived, a nice US government presidential aide, the same name as mine, came from Athens to London and then went to Bonn and Paris. He sent a message that he was looking for some packages and they sent my packages, registered mail, special courier to DC. They say they have seen nothing of any mail so here I am. My packages as it turns out were some-wheres between DC and Paris on their way to Paris from which they would come back to London and then perhaps to the American Embassy in Madrid where I had hoped to retrieve them although I doubted it.
The weather has was pretty fair since I had been in London. It was fairly warm and sunny to partly cloudy and only rained but a few times during the daytime and then but for a few minutes. I had spent my time more or less doing nothing and was quite content to do nothing. There is an Irish woman who more or less runs the establishment where I am staying. It is a bed and breakfast. In the morning she gives me an extra pot of coffee and we talk while she cleans the dining room. She is very nice and we get along great. Her father is a fisherman and this summer when she is home, I may go to Ireland and fish with her father.
I arrived in Dover on Monday night at about 2130. I slept the night in a farmer's field.
I arrived my present address Tuesday midday and someone reported to the police that my pants were muddy and I looked scruffy. The police were in to see me one evening mid-week concerning my whereabouts on Monday night.
