For instance all people can be considered to share the human condition as a similar experience, and all living things can be thought of as unified in the experience of the planetary condition and the survival of Necessity and Subsistence, wherein all beings can be considered to share similar conditions of the planetary reality and survival.

A fundamental premise found in the work of Any Age Authority is that the concept of duality is emphasized, promoted and is inherent to the perspective of Progressive Materialism. This idea may be capsulized in the concept of Antagonistic Opposition, that in essence derives from the introduction and accords with the concept of Excess and Profit. A division and duality of value and consequence is created between the state of possessing Excess and Profit, and the materials and labor that is necessary to produce it. This division is illustrated by what is natural, ordinary, common, undeveloped or uneducated as distinct from what is developed, unusual, progressed, educated and elite. What is natural, undeveloped, uneducated or primitive may be considered as antagonistic to the advancement of progress and betterment that Excess and Profit produces, and thus can be used as resource to promote the interests of Progressive Materialism.

Antagonistic Opposition includes such concepts as evil, hatred, us-and-them and enemies. Antagonistic Opposition can be used as a justification for the exploitation of what is considered as inferior by those who assess themselves as superior.

If the inherent duality of the contrast of opposites is a structural aspect of the universe, and if it could be thought to be necessary to the very nature of existence, then speculation is possible that a further dualistic aspect might exist as a polarity between the physical and non-physical or spiritual dimensions. It further might be postulated that the physical and non-physical dimensions are necessary to the existence of a single unified existence. If this were the case, then certain suppositions might be inquired of and proposed which would comment on the validity of such an assumption.
