Evil is violence and suffering perpetrated against others, the purpose of which is generally to bring some advantage to the perpetrator, as slavery is cheap labor. It would be difficult to understand of what benefit human acts of Evil would be to a coexistent spirit world unless this world benefited, as the common myth goes, by the accumulation of Evil souls or some such thing. This is a difficult rationale to understand since there doesn't seem to be any real advantage to it, other than to subvert people, and then to constantly have to baby-sit this unruly bunch of really bad souls in a place called hell. Then there is the concept that Metempiric Power is a neutral entity, like a gun that is said to be not good or evil in itself, but relative to the user. This is the most rationale explanation except that it is also probably unlikely. We know that people can be really, really bad such as Hitler, Stalin, the Roman emperors for instance. If anyone had access to this power then it would seems that there would be no defense to these people and that they could have been even much, much worse than they were.

The explanation put forward here is that the source of Metempiric Power, in terms of the concept of the objective of desirable change, originates from or is granted or borrowed from a single god, or from the coexistent spirit world. Nature has limited physical power. Bears can kill humans but bears, lions, tigers, elephants or gators cannot ban together in a political way to subjugate humans. Most predatory animals do not target humans for food. Humans can kill animals by the millions.
