Erosion occurred after the forest was clear-cut so it could be concluded that clear cutting causes erosion where none existed before. Foundation Reasoning is the propensity of Socialism because socialist government is the pooling of community resources for the good of the whole, like roads, water, energy, health or education. Thus socialist government is to be conducted by the facts as they exist in the community and for the community's benefit. 'By the number of people without affordable health care, free health clinics were set up.' Foundation Reasoning is considered as the propensity of the Left Wing, because the left as pure is Socialist and opposed to elitist control or fascism, and in favor of from-ground-up grass roots political control. Decisions are to be made in community meetings and not by a few bureaucrats at the top.
Authority Reasoning is correlated with the
Pseudo-Conservative Propensity,
Right Wing
and Progressive. The Pseudo-conservative propensity is to determine value by comparison to authority, usually as the most developed degree of perfection as opposite to what is natural. Authority Reasoning as Deductive Logic begins with such things as generalization, conclusion, principle, proposition or standards which proceed evidence. 'Abortion is evil and should be only allowed in some circumstances or not at all.' Thus if abortion is evil in most or all cases, it is evil in this particular case. Conclusion proceeds any and all evidence. Thus reasoning on the subject as Inductive may not support the authority. The mother may die if there is not an abortion. The authority here is usually not the physical being but the perfection of the soul. The pre-aborted baby's soul is more important than the mother's life presumably because the mother's natural body is unimportant, and because the mother's soul has already done its thing here on earth.
