Sensorium :


The Human Sensory Apparatus responds in terms of feelings, to stimuli registered from both within and outside the body. The impetus for the response and reaction of the sensory apparatus, is the conditions of the immediate present environment, which produces sensations to which the sensory apparatus perceives and may be required to respond, such as sudden temperature change or bodily urges. This response is anything from the smell of garlic to a muscle pain, the sight of an object flying toward one, to the taste or vinegar. Nearly every sensory response produces feeling. The feelings produced by the Human Sensory Apparatus are identical or fairly similar for almost every individual. Nearly everyone likes to eat food, but hardly anyone is so fond of eating tree leaves. This means that on a sensory level, most sensations and the response they produce as feelings, are for the most part common to all.

The sensory apparatus can also be stimulated by the memory, independent of present sensory experience. If one thinks Apple Pie, one may recall the taste automatically by the process of the memory. What is perceived and sensed is recognized and identified by the memory through the process of Association, which is the memory of things sensed in the past. A specific dog in a pack may be associated with the neighbor as the neighbor's dog. Association also has attached to it feelings which were present in past experience. One may remember or associate the smell of the neighbor's dog fur, when identifying it from the pack. Present sensory experience can be altered by past associations, as for instance the present experience of a harmless spider may be altered by association with a spider bite in the past. The associations themselves can also be altered by the individual's thinking and by the words of others, about the subject after the fact. For instance, there was really not as much danger standing near to the cliff edge, as was imagined later.

There is a difference between what is called pure sensation, and that as affected by Association. This distinction is the difference between pure experience, as the feel of cold water, wherein no associations alter the experience called Amorphous Sensation, and the experience of sensations when they are altered by Association called Emotion, like the feeling of cold water, inspires the memory of falling through the lake ice, such that the present experience of cold water seems much colder than it really is.

Amorphous Sensation is sensory registration, wherein the sensory response is not so much affected by Association such as images, impressions, feelings, thoughts, conceptions stored in the memory, that are automatically or selectively attached to present experience or thinking, as identification, classification, implication and Context. Amorphous Sensation is present sensory experience called Natural Affection.

Natural Affection :


The Sentient System is called Natural Affection, defined as physical reaction or response of the Human Sensory Apparatus, to sensual stimulation, in which the sensory response reflects the natural and direct effects upon the sensory apparatus, as the feeling of wind on the skin, and wherein Association is primarily Correspondent, as opposed to Disconjunctive Association, and the dictates of Consequential Value, defined as the begetter of Emotion.

Natural Affection is said to be sensory response to the immediate environment, to what the body senses or to thinking, which is not altered or enhanced by Consequential Value. The house fire was seen as thrilling and a beautiful specter of a big fire, because this was a stranger's home and its loss was of no particular concern to the witness. The distinction is made between Natural Affection and Emotion, because what is of Consequence, to the individual or culture, is highly subjective. Natural Affection is fairly objective.

The character of the Human Sensory Apparatus is fairly equivalent for all persons, in which the senses are not incapacitated. Everyone pretty much agrees on things like the color blue, the sound of thunder, the taste of strawberry or peach, and reaction should be fairly equivalent. All individuals may be affected nearly equally by the sound of a sudden and unexpected nearby explosion. After the initial shock, one may attach Associations. The type of Associations will determine the response.

Optimum Correspondence as the Evaluative System of the Whole and the Ego would accord to Natural Affection, wherein the Ego as the body's interpreter, guardian and preserver of what is of Consequence and primary concerns of the body. The Ego would employ the body as best befits optimum operation in the environment of which it exists as sensory satisfaction and as primarily Necessity and Subsistence, and Natural Affection would be the best protector of the body's integrity. Both Natural Affection and Emotion are integral aspects of the human sensory response system. Natural Affection is fairly objective, in which sensory response is based on Association that contains content that more corresponds to actual events and experience as they are sensed.

Emotion :


Emotion is defined as physical reaction or response, of the Human Sensory Apparatus to sensual stimulation as present experience or thinking, wherein the response is affected by and relative to Associations, which contains Consequential Value significant to the individual. The individual is much distressed at the death of one's own dog, but not other people's animals. Emotion is said to be the sensory response and reaction to present sensation which is interior or exterior to the body in which some Consequence pertaining to the individual is associated. A sudden pain in the chest may be considered simply a mild aggravation, in which not much notice is taken, and not much reaction is exhibited. This is considered as Natural Affection. However, if the pain is associated with a heart attack, then the sensory reaction may be quite animated and extreme. This is defined as Emotion. People can identify with what is of Consequence for others or to animals and such, and thus exhibit Emotion when the consequence does not directly relate to them.

Emotion and emotional response is subjective and relative to the individual's personal value system, as what is considered as Consequence. Emotion that is fairly objective, is in such cases where most people could agree, on the nature of some particular Consequence such the desire to live. The Dyadic Authoritative Comparative as the Evaluative System of the Part and the Identities would accord to Emotion, in that the Dyadic defines what is of Consequence and to what degree. Therefore, the Dyadic Authoritative Comparative could be said to regulate the Emotional response system of Monoism.

Love and Hate :


The fundamental polarity of the Dyadic Authoritative Comparative is the Metaphysical Ideal, as ultimate and greatest supreme perfection, and which is emotionally Love. And its opposite, as the Antithetical Matrix is what is natural, primitive, undeveloped villainous and depraved or emotionally Hatred. From zero or one to ten tiered, are the gamut of emotion as antitheticals, such as hate, fear, anger, alarm, panic, aversion, disgust, revulsion, sorrow, grief, envy, jealousy, indifference, boredom, sadness, discontentment and disappointment to superlatives such as attraction, enthusiasm, surprise, hope, interest, curiosity, joy, elation, gratitude, thankfulness, triumph, jubilation, excitement, contentment, happiness, ecstasy and Love. The various Emotions as associated and induced with degrees of Consequence, as otherwise why would it matter? Is one enthused by the grass growing? But a maybe they should be.

Ecstaticism :


Ecstaticism is defined as Natural Affection and a revised set of Consequential Values as would befit the Ipseities, as having formulated new operating procedures, having disassociated from the bipolarities of the Dyadic Authoritative Comparative of Monoism. In the interest of Tridadic Authority, Natural Affection as inherent to the body and as the province of the Ego, of course is retained. The Dyadic Authoritative Comparative, if not generally employed, should be understood as an awareness of Monoists, Monotheists and MonoCulturists as a matter of understanding and self-protection.

An aspect of the reformed personality as an Ipseity, would be the object of feeling, if not great, good all the time. Through processes of analysis, one clears one's mind of confusion. One learns what foods are most agreeable to one's body, what patterns of regularity feel best, the proper amount of sleep, some degree of exercise, much of which might be boring to progressives, but all of which are in the interest of feeling good if not great all the time. Another aspect is heart rate, which should be affected as little possible by mental activity, Natural Affection and Emotion, wherein a calming attitude of quietude is imposed upon the body in any instance of stress.

Another aspect of the Ipseity, would be a new-found form of evaluation, in which Consequence is applied to everything, or all is important. Or another way to say it is - I love everything. However, Emotion then becomes overwhelming unless counter contingencies are undertaken, wherein an overall philosophy of emotional quietude is adopted such as concepts like Complimentary Opposition wherein natural conflict is complimentary to the overall Whole, like balance of nature and Necessity and Subsistence, wherein what is consumed is replaced by reproduction as an equilibrium. These kinds of understandings can allow for a controlled and tranquil Ecstaticism.
