When one becomes a chef, one must adopt the attitude of the Consequence of great food, and one may then become emotional with the creation of a great sauce or the spoiling of a soup.
Universality:
The commonality of all peoples is to be found in the similarities of the
human body, which is more similar than different. Thus the Ego as the
interpreter of the body also possesses this same commonality. On the level of the Ego, people are universally similar. Differences amount to things like size and weight, sexual preference, taste, susceptibilities to varying diseases, looks, sensitivities to pollens or chemicals or the threshold for pain. Most everyone feels pain, hunger, various urges, needs some sleep or shares in common the same senses. People who are more Ego oriented or have the Ego as Primary Interpreter, may tend to be able to communicate with anyone by talking to others Ego as opposed to attempting to talk to their Identities.
Identities as the creations of the mind or Thinking-I, can be vastly different and contain within their definition different criterion for Consequence. Differences in created Identities create a non-commonality of Consequence and thus a non-commonality emotional make-up. Where negative emotional manifestation and activity is attributed to the Ego, emotional trauma, such as anger and rage, jealousy, depression guilt, resentment or bitterness, is usually limited to personal experience of the self and with others involved. When Consequence and emotional content comes packaged with an Identities definition, Consequence and emotional-makeup tends to be stereotypical. Most Identities, as for instance the Identity religious fundamentalists, will tend to categorize non-believers as worth less than they themselves. Most large scale human conflict comes from the diversity of Identities.
