The Conservative Spiritual Ethical Identity is an archetype for all sub-conservative Identities, wherein the underlying premise concerning transformation and destruction is prohibition and limitation, by virtue of the assessed inherent integrity, considered as possessed by all things natural. The Conservative Identity would primarily engage themselves in maintenance and preserving things as opposed to development. Houses and institutions are created and built, and after that they are maintained.

The fundamental underlying premise of the Progressive Material Volitional Identity, as an archetype for all sub-progressive Identities, is that the transformation and destruction of all material things is justified, by virtue of the deemed inherent mundane inferiority of all things natural, as compared to superior alternatives as human or divine creation. The Progressive Identity would engage in development of every kind, from body enhancement, talent development, the pursuit of profit, industrial, agricultural and housing production, or religious transcendence and evangelism.

Individuals generally have both Conservative and Progressive Identities. Conservative Identities are to said to be placed on the Horizontal Axis on one side of the Thinking-I, and Progressive Identities on the other, with each moved to Vertical when active. For example, one may have a Conservative sexual Identity meaning very prudish, while at the same time exhibiting a Progressive occupational Identity like upwardly mobile stock broker.

Both Active and Associative Identities may either be Progressive or Conservative. Active Identities specifically mean the contexts for interpretation that are used when actively involved in the external world. Active Identities may be Conservative or Progressive, however they are culturally influenced. Primitive cultures are generally Conservative, if for no other reason than the absence of the technology that makes progress possible. Americans are probably the most culturally progressed people ever, and are indoctrinated with progressivity, mainly from capitalist buy evermore, skies-the-limit advertising.
