The Transcendent Identity is any Context of Interpretation, that is the associational embodied context of an Ipseity, that would interpret in terms of non-physical causes, affects and qualities, conditions or attributes. The Ipseity usually takes the form Religion or Spirituality, in which either of these may be Associational or Active, and where Active may imply a professional full time capacity like priest or medicine man.
For the most part the Transcendent Identity is almost always directed toward the Positive Dimension, as interpretation of physical events, which may ascribe non-physical cause, reason, purpose or motivations. One may interpret the storm damage as a message from God or to one's enemies. The idea posed here, is that the Transcendent Identity may also be directed toward the Metaphysical Dimension, where it would act similar to the Ego, that interprets through the Aware-I and the physical body, but rather interpret through the Metaphysical-I and metaphysical body or Soul. This redirection would be called Metaphysical Perception.
Further aspects of the Ego and Identity are what would be called
Vertical and
Horizontal Evaluation. Those who use primarily the Identity as Interpretive Context tend to think vertically. This means they think primarily based on progressive evaluation as described the concept of the Dyadic Authoritative Comparative, or up/down, superior/inferior, better/worse, rank, higher/lower, more or less. They tend to evaluate themselves as more or less than others they meet and associate with. In this case they relate to others Identity persona rather than as equals sharing the same place and time.
Those who use primarily the Ego as Interpretive Context would tend to think Horizontally, meaning not in relation to difference, but rather as side by side affinities, as the similarities of the experience of the body in relation to the similarities of reality. Relationships with others would be based on the similarities of the human experience rather than the exceptionalism of special facilities like specialized professional capacities.
